We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the University of Denver Men’s Soccer Goal Keeper Coach, Brandyn Bumpas, to our training session from 3pm to 5pm on Monday, October 11th. Coach Bump will talk to our boys about the importance of dedication and enthusiasm to succeed on the soccer pitch, and in life. And his experience is a shining example of getting the most from this game we love.
This is Coach Bump’s first year at DU after two years as the goal keepers coach at Regis. In all, he has ten years of experience coaching youth, high school and college soccer players at the highest levels.
In addition to his responsibilities at DU, Coach Bump directs a lot of the goal keeper coaching activities at both the Colorado Rapids and Core Soccer Academy.
As a player, Coach Bump was a high school All-American and All-Colorado player at Mullen where he was also the kicker on the football team and played with our very own Mr. Brewer. Brandyn played collegiate soccer at Colorado Mesa where he went to the NCAA Division II semi-finals. He also played with the US National U18 and U20 teams.
Coach Bumpas has already had a distinguished career, and I consider myself very fortunate to have learned a ton from him about coaching goal keepers, and encouraging young men and women to reach their potentials on and off the pitch. He is a friend to me and the game of soccer, and we are honored to have him as our guest here at Kennedy Soccer.
