Team Week, August 2-6, 2021

Tryouts and the commitment of a full boy’s soccer season start Monday, August 9th (for details about registering for tryouts, please click here). Before we start the grind, let’s have a fun week of team building and bonding! Team week is completely voluntary, but also completely fun!

Anyone enrolled at Kennedy High School for the 2021/2022 school year who is intending to play boy’s soccer is welcome to join us. Please be early for all events. Anyone who arrives late will not be allowed to participate in that day’s event. The schedule for Kennedy Boy’s Soccer team week 2021 is below:

Tryouts August 9th-12th

Tryouts for the fall of 2021 boy’s soccer season will be Monday through Thursday, August 9th – 12th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on the turf field. To be eligible to tryout, students need to be enrolled at Kennedy High School for the 2021/2022 school year, and complete all three steps for soccer registration.

Training the Week of July 12th

We are off to a great start with our summer training program in preparation for the 2021 fall season. The guys who have been coming out are going to be in great shape in time for the fitness tests during tryouts in August.

There are no organized team training sessions the week of July 12th. Please run three miles, three different time during this week. The goal is 24 minutes for the three miles. That’s an eight-minute mile, which will help you be ready for our fitness tests.

Summer Training is Underway!

If we are going to successfully command the pitch this fall, we are going to have a productive summer getting in shape and bonding as a team. Summer training us underway and will continue on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 8am to 9:30am until tryouts in August.
